My favorite character has to be Pi's father. He was strict, firm but caring towards his family. He thought of what was best even though he messed up sometimes. You could really see how much he loved his family and how hard he tried for them. Even on his last few scenes alive, he showed how much his family was important to him.
The movie was amazingly well made, every moment was dramatic and emotional even if some were just made to be funny. The scene I really liked was when he realized that the island he was on was carnivorous. The rush of fear in his eyes fit the scene real well and the fact he saved richard parker showed how much he relies on him.
